blog did not publish

  I clicked publish and it says “published” but my blog is not published.
  I also clicked share and it says “shared” on facebook but it is not on facebook.
  I added tags and tags show on one page but not on edit page.
  I clicked category and that shows on edit page but not on blog page.
  Link below does not show anything. Link directly to blog is not accessible to others.

  Help! What am I doing wrong?

  Is the blog post visible on your dashboard Posts page?

  There are numerous reports that the New Editor, the one that goes Beep Beep Boop, does not save posts and publishes empty posts. Switch to the Classic editor.

  Thanks raincoaster,

  I was in Classic and switched to the New Editor and published it again. It looks like it might have gone through but I’m not sure. I sent the http address to a friend to see if she can access it, then I will know for sure. When I got into the New Editor, I found the tags and categories okay. They seemed to have disappeared in Classic editor. It’s all new to me but hopefully I’m learning. Your help is appreciated.

  The editor’s autosave feature should be fixed as of several weeks ago. Are users still having trouble? Can you please modlook those threads for us?

  And we haven’t seen any reports of the editor publishing empty posts. Can you modlook the threads about this so we can get it fixed?

  I understand that you’re not a fan of the new editor, however these types of comments aren’t especially helpful for the users or staff in trying to figure out what’s happening. If you’re seeing reoccurring issues, can you make sure you’re modlook-ing the threads? Adding crosslinks or specifying a tag that you’re using for all posts with this issue is also very helpful for staff.
