Blog Disappeared

So I logged in to do some blogging only to find that, “POOF”, I have no blog! Not the missing posts that others have posted but NO.FREAKING.BLOG.AT.ALL. Gone. I have an account, my user name and password works (obviously) but the landing page says “Let’s get going” “Start a blog”. “Customer service” is non-existent. I paid my domain registration renewal, I can still go to the site directly using the url. Anyone have any ideas? Or if anyone from WP “Customer Service” is reading maybe you could get back to me? If anyone wants to poke around the url is backwardsandstupid

The domain backwardsandstupid.com is registered under a different user account (hallwaysledge). It’s possible that you were a user on that blog but have been removed by the administrator. Please contact the administrator of the blog or log into the correct account.

I have the same problem. It’s a private blog and it keeps dissapearing! some times it’s there, and then it dissapears again. wtf?

Kardotim, it’s very possible I was a user on that blog since I’m the writer, editor and domain name owner. I’ve also logged into my hallwaysledge account with the same results. However, the strangest thing happened this evening, I tried to log into the blog on my phone and was able to and it appeared as though everything is normal. However, on my tablet and laptop, same results: nothing there.

Oh! And for further clarification I can only log in on my phone going to the WP website. If I try to use the app it shows I have no blogs.

Once you’re logged into that account, are you able to access http://backwardsandstupid.com/wp-admin ?

Is the Android or iOS app? inside the app there should be an option to add existing sites to your app.

Kardotim, perhaps I figured out the problem. I am, as we speak, logged in as my hallwaysledge account. However, when I click on the link above for my blog’s admin page that you provided a text page comes up saying that I do not have access privileges and that I am logged in as chrissterricker and that I must contact an administrator to be added if I want access privileges. Did the two accounts somehow get crossed up? Also, I had already tried clearing caches and cookies to no avail, tried it again with same results, noting changed.

Oh, and as far as the app goes it is an iPhone app. And it never gave me an option to add a new blog. I entered my credentials, it seemed to search out my blog or whatever and added it automatically.

It sounds like that the issue could be browser related. Could you please try one of the browsers mentioned in my previous reply. This way we can rule out whether the issue is browser related or not.

Same thing in both Chrome and Firefox. Let’s start a blog! No avatar, no blog, no nothing under either account.

It’s correct that you don’t have a blog under your christophersterricker account, but not on hallwaysledge.
Could you please make sure that you are logged into the ‘hallwaysledge’ account and send me a screenshot? You can send the screenshot by e-mail to this e-mail address.
Alternatively you could try to access your account from a different computer or Internet connection to see if you also encounter it there.

Logged in on a Windows based machine on a totally different internet connection (work) and had same results.
