blog disappeared

    My blog is still public, but when I log into wordpress, it says I do not have a blog. It wants me to start one. I have tried reactivating. It told me to try lost password, which I did. No, change.
    How do I retreive my blog?

    *** I subbmitted this problem last week and the ‘helpful community member’ said he would email my problem on, but I have heard nothing.***

    Hi there,

    Someone on our end replied to you on Thursday. If you didn’t receive our reply, it might be sitting in the spam folder.

    The yllizzy account you’re using to post here was only created on 3 January, and hasn’t yet created any sites with us, so if your site is definitely created with us on WordPress.com, it’s under a different account.

    Can you tell me the URL of the site you’re trying to access?

    Note that WordPress.com accounts cannot lapse, and neither a WordPress.com site or account is ever deactivated because you miss a payment. At most any upgrades on the site are removed, and the site reverts back to its original example.wordpress.com address.

    If you don’t recall ever having an example.wordpress.com address, then you were likely using the open source version of WordPress at another hosting provider. In that case you’ll need to contact the hosting provider where you had the site directly to find out if they still have a copy of your files on their servers that can be restored.

    I checked my spam folder… Nothing from wordpress.

    I’m not sure what has happened. I created my blog in 2018 using the (email visible only to moderators and staff) email. When I tried to access my wordpress account a couple weeks ago, it did not recognize me and created a new account ( on jan 3). I would like to recover my original account.

    The URL for my blog is beautiful exhaustion blog.WordPress.com

    Log out from this new account and log back in with the username beautifulexhaustion1 along with the correct password for your site:
    https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
