Blog display "edit this" button

  I’m sure it’s in the help files somewhere but I am kind of new at making changes and I can find what I want in the help files.
  When I post I see that there is always an “edit this” in red at the bottom. How do remove this. I do not want anyone reading the post the ability to make changes to it…..

  Don’t worry. As the blog’s owner, you’re the only one who sees them. You can confirm it by logging off and going to your blog (you’ll see what your viewers do: not a single trace of “edit post”).
  It’s just a way of making post editing a bit easier, so you don’t have to go back to the Post section on your dashboard menu and search for the post you want to edit.
