Blog display problem
-
I have my site set to start with my posts page. When I type in my blog address, everything comes up fine. When I click on another page and then return to the blog page, all I get is my original post and none of the other posts. I’ve tried both Explorer and Chrome with the same results. If I set my start page to be a static page, I do not have this problem, but I want to start with my posts page. Do I have something set incorrectly?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Donna,
I’m not able to reproduce your issue. You stated this:
When I click on another page and then return to the blog page, all I get is my original post and none of the other posts.
Can you tell me which blog post it goes to? If you’re on a page and go back to the Home page you should see all the posts. Which post is it choosing when you click on the Home Page?
Whenever you click on Books by Donna you should be going back to your Home Page.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

I go to my website (www.duckandfriends.com), I arrive at my blog and everything is fine. I click another page, like About, then I go to page “blog” and the site that comes up is: http://duckandfriends.com/blog/ but it doesn’t show my recent posts. All it shows is my very first blog post. I had a friend try it on her computer and the same thing happened. How do I get the “blog” tab to take me to my whole blog?

Hi Donna,
I click another page, like About, then I go to page “blog” and the site that comes up is: http://duckandfriends.com/blog/ but it doesn’t show my recent posts.
This is because you set you Home page as your latest posts. That’s why you can see all your posts when you go to:
but NOT when you go to: http://duckandfriends.com/blog
If you want you posts to show up on your Blog page, please go to Settings > Reading in your Dashboard.
Where it says, Front page displays, select A static page and select a static Front page. If you want it to be your Blogs (your latests posts) select Blog. Then set your Posts Page to: Blog as well.
Then you should be set! Don’t forget to click Save Changes as the bottom.
Cheers!

I still cannot get this to work. On settings — reading I can set the static page to blog, but then it won’t let me set the posts page to blog. It says they have to be different. I want the posts to be on the homepage. I want a reader to be able to look at other pages and then return to the homepage and read my posts. How do I do that?

Never mind. I figured it out myself. The problem was that I had deleted “home” from the menu.
