Blog doesn’t show up in search engine

When I search for my blog using a search engine my blog doesn’t show up. I made sure my security settings allow anyone to view the blog/allow blog to show up on search engines but no dice so far. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a solution?

It’s a good idea to link your name. When you comment in other people’s blogs, they can find yours!
Also, by looking at your blog, it looks like you have only a few posts, over only a few days. It takes Google and other search engines a while to pick up on your blog. Give it time.

Also be aware that your oldest post is Jan 3, and it can take anywhere from a week to six weeks for the search engines to index your blog. In most cases with wordpress.COM blogs, that seems to happen a little quicker, but still, it will take a little while.
There is also a delay on showing up on the global tags pages of what seems to be about two weeks. This is the result of spammers trying to game the system, and so wordpress instituted a delay.
Keep posting original content and you will get there.

I don’t think that is true. The OP is showing up already. My posts show up almost instantly.
Or are we talking about different things (“global tags pages”)?

According to staff (Mark), there is a delay before people will show up in the tags pages unless staff have in the meantime changed their minds and taken the delay off.

i tried the google webmaster…. and got stuck in the uploading a HTML file in the new page. The problem is my permalink does not end with a .hmtl, tried adding the full stop but the link stays the same. What’s wrong?
