Blog Domain Expiring

I’m getting this message when I go to my site today:

Uh oh! Your blog’s domain sharkingforchipsanddrinks.com is expiring today!
If you don’t renew sharkingforchipsanddrinks.com soon, your blog’s domain will stop functioning starting Sunday, August 3, 2014 and visitors who come to the web address sharkingforchipsanddrinks.com won’t be able to find your site any more.

BUT. When I click the link to take me to the renewal page I get the following message:

    Renewing sharkingforchipsanddrinks.com
Your blog is mapped to your domain (sharkingforchipsanddrinks.com) and this domain mapping needs to be renewed before January 1, 1970. Renewal will extend the domain mapping by one year, until January 1, 1970 for only $0.00. (Remember to renew the domain itself with your registrar, too.)
    Renewing sharkingforchipsanddrinks.com
    Product Cost
    $0.00 USD

The going to MY DOMAINS Tab it says this:

    Primary Domain Subscription Manage
    sharkingforchipsanddrinks.com Never Expires Edit Domain
This is your Primary Domain; the domains below will redirect to it.
    sharkingforchipsanddrinks.wordpress.com Never Expires

I do not want my Domain to expire. Do I accept that it Never Expires as per above?

    Hi there,

It looks like you transferred your domain away a few months ago. When you did, our system didn’t update quite right and it thought your domain was still here.

I have fixed that and your site at sharkingforchipsanddrinks.wordpress.com is now working just fine. Your site at sharkingforchipsanddrinks.com is also working OK too.

Let me know if you have any questions!
