Blog double spacing

    Is there any way to disable the double spacing in a blog template?

    I help with my church’s blog, and usually copy/paste from MS Word to the HTML editor in WordPress. Despite doing it that way and not having any other code/tags when I publish, I always get double-spaces between the “paragraphs” on the blog page. If one of the post is clicked an view separately then your can see it with single spacing, but never on the blog page itself. The double-space looks terrible to me and wastes a lot of space on the page, so I’d reeeaallllllllyyy like to fix it …any ideas anyone?

    This is the blog if you want to see for yourself…

  • Hi there, these forums are for folks hosted here on WordPress.com.

    You can get help with your self-hosted site (running on your own hosting) by asking the makers of Valera, your premium theme:

    http://themeforest.net/item/valera-responsive-html-template/2194402

    p.s. the extra space below each paragraph is coming from your theme and not from anything you’re doing on your end:

    .blog_item p {
        margin-bottom: 0;
        padding: 20px;
    }

    This can be reduced with some custom CSS, which your premium theme developer should be able to help you with.
