Blog emails have changed

  Just wondering why the new post emails that are sent to subscribers have a different format than they did a couple of weeks ago. I don’t believe I did anything to change their appearance, and I can’t find anywhere to change them back.

  Hi there,

  We recently rolled out a change to email templates to address feedback we’ve received from other site owners. There is not a way to change a single account (such as yours) back to the old email template as it no longer exists in our system

  Out of curiosity, why are you wanting to change back? Is there something about the current template that is not working for you? Happy to share that feedback with our dev team, thanks!

  Thanks for your response. I’m not sure what feedback you received that inspired the new template, but I would be interested in knowing the reasoning behind the changes (especially since it doesn’t sound like I have any choice in how my subscribers see my blog).

  I don’t really like the new larger font size/style/spacing. The overall email is narrower and longer, and my small site logo looks lost above the oversize title of the post. That title is WAY too big.

  As well, I liked that the old way showed the categories/tags/url at the bottom of the post, and these are all missing on the new email.

  I definitely prefer the old style.
