Blog enters redirect loop when I am logged in

  Blog does not load under these conditions:
  1) the primary domain is set to a non-wordpress one. This is set with the radio button in the “store>my domains” section.
  2) I am logged in under my account.

  Under these conditions, the web site appears to enter a redirect loop, trying to load and reload over and over again. If I am not logged in or if my primary is set to the wordpress.com variant then I do not have this issue. Note that my dashboard and sites/stats pages all work just fine — it’s just the blog itself that is having problems.
  I have updated my browser, cleared cache and cookies, tested on both chrome and firefox, and run the domain helper (which says everything is fine).

  Hi there,

  I just took a look at your site and it does indeed seem to be working OK. I clicked around both logged in as a user and logged out and wasn’t able to get a redirect loop error.

  Redirect loops usually happen when a domain’s nameservers have only recently been changed. If you happened to make any change within the last 48 hours or so that could be what is causing this problem on your browsers.

  If not, when did this start occurring? Do you have any extensions or plugins on your browsers (such as always-https type plugins) which might be causing any sort of a redirect?

  Any additional information would help! Thanks in advance.

  [RESOLVED] Details below in case somebody else runs into this.

  The change in primary domains was about 24 hours ago, so that could have been a factor, but I think it was just something with my browsers. I run several different extensions, but none of them should force https. But that did give me an idea which worked:
  I tried to load my blog forcing https manually (https://currentadventure.com), which led the browser to give me security warnings. I then add the blog as a security exception and now it works – no redirect loop anymore, even when I load normally (http, not https).

  This worked in both firefox and chrome (had to do them independently) and the firefox security warning gives a possible reason why:
  “currentadventure.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.wordpress.com, wordpress.com”
  Somewhere there was a hangup on the certificate, specific to when I’m logged in (probably because it’s pulling my account info for the top bar). But instead of giving me a security warning, the browser was just refreshing. With the security exemption in place it seems to be good to go. Thanks.
