Blog Excerpt

    I chose this theme because it was said to have the blog excerpt feature, yet I can’t find it while customizing and when I manually write an excerpt in the actual process of writing the post it still only shows the full post instead of an excerpt. I really like this theme, is there any way to solve it?

    Hi,

    The theme which is applied to your site, Alves, doesn’t support custom Excerpts, and there is no built in excerpt option for the blog page and archives pages on this theme as there is on some themes. All of the posts on the Alves demo blog page (menu item “Causes”) are short because the content of each post is short.

    Alternatively, you may insert a More Block into each post that you want to be truncated on the blog and archives pages. See the More Block support page for relevant information and instructions.
