Blog exit button
-
I have created a blog (WP) which is accessed from the original site, made with Xara webdesigner 365. What I would like is either the header or a button to take me back to the website. I have a custom button at the end of each blog post, but the client would prefer it to be in/on the header or on the side bar.
Any suggestions or help please?Pete

Is the blog hosted here at WordPress.com? If you can provide the URL for the site you are describing we might be able to give better advice.
There are 2 versions of WordPress as described here:

https://wordpress.org/support/If you are hosted here, one option might be to add a menu item that links to the original site:

I installed WP from cpanel in my hosting package, if that helps?

Yes, that confirms that you are not using the same version of WordPress that is supported here.. So seek help in the forums over at WordPress.org:
https://wordpress.org/support/
That being said it might still be a good idea to add a menu item to go to your original site.
The documentation for your WordPress is found in the codex at WordPress.org.
