blog expired popup

Hi, my blog expired in January and i redid it to a free version from a premium version.
But when i enter my blog there is a popup that says “Oh no! This blog’s domain expired” and it never goes away.
I have been told that it will disappear in three months but it doesn’t.
Please help.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you no longer need or want a custom domain, and you are logged in with the username account that registered the site, you can go into your site’s Domain dashboard and set your original WPcom address as the Primary address. https://wordpress.com/my-domains/

My original WP address is already set as the primary address, and it has been since january.

I don’t understand what you want me to do with the mapping?
I already have mortangard.wordpress.com, I should not have to pay to map it, and i don´t know how to remove the “map” when i don´t think i have it.And how do i do a modlock?

I have the same problem – the domains I own x2 (one of which expired) now haves a holding page saying the usual –“oops you need to renew”
well i don’t want to renew my old domain, just to have the blog assigned tot he original domain which is still chive and current…
any suggestions on how to cancel the domain and have my site up and running again?
