Blog Feed: Posts Missing

  Hi there – I have successfully uploaded about 6 posts that automatically posted to my blog feed, but I seem to have done something wrong and now all of my published posts are missing from the blog feed. Can you help me re-post all of my published blog posts to my blog feed page?

  Hi @hallych, I’m trying to see what happened here. Do you want the home page to display a static page, or do you want to always show the latest posts?

  If you’re wanting to show the latest posts, can you set that here?
  My Site > Design > Customize > Front Page

  Just choose to show the latest posts there.

  When I first started my blog page for my travels, the only two pages on the top bar were homepage which displayed my first blog post, and a blog feed which would automatically update whenever I added a new post.

  I did something weird where I accidentally uploaded my last “post” as a page instead. Now, the blog feed tab is blank and all of my previous blog posts (which are still showing as “published” are not accessible on the blog feed.

  Essentially I just want to have all of my published blog posts available on one page, in reverse chronological order (i.e. latest post at the top), all on one page. Right now, I can’t access any of my blog posts on the blog feed page.

  Hi Hally,

  It appears that you’ve published a post, titled “My First Blog Post”, as a page, yes, and you’ve set that as your site’s front page. Previously the page titled Blog Feed was set as your front page. You can see where you made these changes here:

  https://wordpress.com/activity-log/thebackpacking.travel.blog

  But if you want your front page to just show all your posts, you don’t need to use pages at all.

  Go to My Site ->Design ->Customize ->Homepage Settings.

  You’ll see there which pages are set as front page and posts page respectively. But if you just want all your posts to show on the front page, you can instead select the option at the top to have the front page display latest posts instead of a static page.

  Let me know if any of this is unclear, or if I’m misunderstanding what you want.
