Blog Follow

  I have a website with WordPress. I have been running it for a number of years. Part of that website includes a blog. I have never been able to add a follow button to this blog where users can put in their email and receive updates when I post new content. Can you please advise on how I can do this? Thanks.

  The Follow button is built-in automatically for anyone logged in to WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/

  As for letting non-WordPress.com folks sign up for email updates, add the Follow Blog Widget: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/

  On this topic, I have two additional questions. First, I have been using the sign up for email updates but the email format is terrible when I receive in my email. Is there anyway to change that? Secondly, subscribers are only asked to enter an email address. Is there anyway to input a form to ask for name as well? I realize with wordpress.com there are limitations but I’m not sure if there are options here. Thanks.
