Blog Followers
-
I had 303 followers on my post, The Dealeo, posted on August 11, 2014 (and I have the blog post to prove it). Now I have 185 followers. It appears the 120 or so Facebook followers have been deleted from the stat site and my posts. Is this correct and if so, why?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Wendy,
I’m so sorry for the delay in this response! We’ve been buried under a mountain of tickets, but we’re getting ourselves out from underneath.
It looks like you deleted your Facebook Publicize connection right about when you wrote in. The Publicize feature is what allows the additional followers on your blog. When you remove it, the followers go away as well.
If you’d like to readd it, we have information on how to do so right here:

Thanks for responding. I did not disconnect my Facebook (or any other) connection, so I’m unsure how this happened. I reconnected the Facebook connection as you suggested (through Dashboard, Settings, etc) , but in red – it states ‘This connection may not be working properly.’ I am hoping this handles the problem. If not, perhaps WordPress can reset or reconnect or whatever needs to occur to fix the problem.

OK, if you’re getting a notification that there is a problem, then you may need to fully disconnect Publicize and then reconnect it. On that same page that I sent you before are some instructions, but here is a direct link:
