Blog Followers
-
My ‘followers’ went from over 300 to 8 in one day. No, that many people could not have unsubscribed at once, I didn’t even post the last few days. Also, where do I find a list of my email followers? People who have entered their email to be notified when I have updates. I have a FB blog group of over 200 people who say they did, but I can not find it anywhere.
Today I had someone sign up to test this out, I can not find her anywhere.
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you disconnect Publicize https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/ this can happen. Did you do that?

Yes I did, if I add it back, will my number go back up to where it was? Also, do you know where to find a list of people who have followed me through the email sign up?
Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it. Going to turn back on publicize now :) -
Your WordPress.COM followers including Publicize followers are found here https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog_subscribers
Your email only followers are here https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog_subscribers&type=email

Sorry I don’t know so we will have to tag this thread for a Staff response. When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then we subscribe to this thread so we are notified when they respond. The number will reflect however many social media followers you have at the time you connect. For example, I connected my Facebook followers two years ago and that number was at 983. I just disconnected and reconnected and gained 200 followers because I have friended 200 or so followers since my last connection.
Basically, the number should reflect the current number of followers you have on your social media account.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Thank you timethief and darnelldibbles for your help. You have been a big help. Timethief your advice worked perfectly, I hooked them back up my number now shows again. Those links are perfect.
Darnell, So the number of followers that is shown is all of my social media accounts combined? If I have FB, Twitter and Google all connected to my account, it should be that number plus the email subscribers, give or take? Pinterest doesn’t seem to be included in that though, I have 37,000 followers on Pinterest nothing like that on my blog. -
Hi there,
Per our support page:
Note: Not all social networking services are able to tells us your follower count. Google+ only shows followers for Pages, not your personal Google+ profile.
I believe Pinterest falls under that service as well.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
