Blog followers and advertising
-
On the right side of my blog page it says “you are following this blog along with 3 thousand -something other people.” Is that the amount of followers of my blog or the amount of wordpress users in my network? I also have on my stats page followers via e-mail and via the “follow this blog button” and it’s a totally different number. Any help?
Also what is the number of views I need to have to start getting advertising?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s the total number of followers your blog has, including email, WordPress.com Reader, Facebook and Twitter (because you connected to them via Publicize), currently 3,741 people total following your blog.

Our advertising partners do have a minimum traffic threshold. Looking at your page views, it’s not possible to earn meaningful earnings given your traffic levels. A site generally needs thousands of page views each month to earn meaningful earnings. As your traffic grows we will continue to apply to get ads activated, there is no need to re-apply.
While we cannot release the exact minimum, I can say that you’re about 30% of the way there.
For now, I recommend reading this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-more-views-and-traffic/
I want to strongly emphasize sharing your blog with your friends and family. If they like it, they’ll share it with their friends, and so on.
