Blog followers missing from my follower list

  I have at least 2 people, whom I know personally, who subscribed to my blog back in 2010-11, who are receiving regular email notifications, but are not listed on my follower/subscriber list. What’s the problem. Thanks

  There are two subscriber lists available, one for those who signed up through their WordPress.com account and the second for non-WordPress.com users who are email subscribers.

  Yes, I know. My missing subscribers are not on either list. They signed up in 2010 and disappeared around Jan 2011 when WordPress made a change in the way they handled subscribers. I believe others had the same problem. Thanks
