Blog followers transfer

  Hi, I have recently changed from a free WordPress.com site to a self hosted one. I have managed to transfer my email subscribers but not my followers (the other WordPress bloggers who follow through my reader). I have posted on my old site regarding the change but no one seems to have seen it – ie none of the followers have liked my new or old site and usually there are a lot that do. How do I transfer them across please? thanks – your article doesn’t seem to cover this even though the title says it should, am I missing something?
