Blog followers vs. subscribers

  Let me get this straight:

  If a person has ie. 250 wordpress.com blog subscribers and then finds out there are 38 wordpress blog “followers” who don’t show up in the subscriber list, is 38 statistic included in the 250 number?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
