Blog format conversion and domain registration

    Hi, I’m trying to find instructional links to do two things:
    1) convert my wordpress domain to a dedicated domain. The option was available when I signed up, but I didn’t take it, and now can’t find how to do it.
    2) Is it possible to convert the appearance of the blog so that I can add my book covers with links on the side? Would also like more SEO. Heard about Genesis from Studio Press. If I use this, will I lose all my blogs? Or does WordPress offer something similar?
