As far as timelines for when staff is going to do this or that, we don’t have any.
Just a few days ago I gave you links to all the basic wordpress resources so you could find the answers to your own questions in the FAQs and by using the forum searchbox. I was not present when the site was temporarily taken down. I am still not aware what completely happened. We are still awaiting a response from Mark, my associate Mr. Ansola replied back to him yesterday. I read through TOS several times prior to even using your system, and I also visited it many times to see what types of blogging was present on here. I found many many companies, business, ecommerce, etc. happening in the WordPress blog. So I am having a very difficult time trying to understand what we did that was even close to being considered a TOS mishap. My guess is that someone just got upset with Anthony because he was in a hurry and didn’t get an immediate answer. I guess you can say that is my fault, I know we were using the service (support area) a few days back and your staff was very quick to respond and extremely helpful. It was bloody amazing! Anyway, I am hoping to hear from Mark by next week. If I don’t is there a contact person I could find (that is a decision maker) so I can get to the bottom of this and not have to use the system as if we are “walking on eggshells”?
In the mean time, the first question I had, I did search through previous topics and found nothing. Just the questions asked but no definitive answers. They said there was suppose to be an answer in the FAQ section (and yes I did save your link – It is on the top of my Bookmarks, and yes I did go there), but I found nothing after looking through all the potentially relevant titles as well as some others.
I understand wholeheartedly what you guys go through- I have done support for several different types of projects (both offline as well as online), and on several projects I supported a very large user base with several hundred staff. Through those experiences, I also realized how sometimes we as Support staff can easily “miss things” or can overlook them as real easy to find, when in fact they are not.
As support staff we must always keep in mind that we are dealing with a system that is far from perfect, but still genuinely pretty awesome (at least as far as WordPress goes), but when we tell someone “this” is where you go to find that, or you can see it “here”, the user will assume when they get there that they should see it; when in fact, most of the time it is not that easily found, or it is some layers deep.
I do apologize for not reviewing the forum searchbox for the cellphone txt blogging question, I just overlooked it (you understand super busy at work) :-(
For what it’s worth I do greatly appreciate your teams efforts in helping to keep the users of this software sane and keep the community as simple to use as possible. Your work is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

P.S. The only decision makers are staff and as you have already contacted Mark there’s nothing to do but wait for him to get to you.

I gotta admit that searched for it as well and couldn’t really find anything except for the “hey it doesn’t work with this phone” threads.
