  Hello..and help! I’ve been struggling to resolve this for 3 weeks and am at my wit’s end.

  I wanted to migrate my domain and blog from wordpress to integrate with a client’s host and platform. I transferred my domain, went back to transfer my blog and it was gone. I couldn’t even see the site and had no access through wordpress.

  Is it lost forever?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi mlfkerins,

  I transferred my domain, went back to transfer my blog and it was gone.

  Can you confirm which domain you transferred? And also which blog you want to migrate? Once I know more, I’ll look into this for you.

  I transferred melindaisnot.com and that is the blog I want to migrate.

  I’ll go through what I can see.

  The domain melindaisnot.com was registered through Tucows. It is only possible to transfer domains registered us from your WordPress.com account.

  melindaisnot.com is a self hosted WordPress.org site which uses the Jetpack plugin to connect it to your WordPress.com account. As the site is not hosted on our servers, you will need to contact your hosting provider for help with migrating to another platform or host.

  The domain is currently pointing to a Squarespace, but your current hosting provider appears to be Bluehost.

  I notice there are several WordPress.com sites in your account. We would be able to give you some advice about migrating them as they are hosted on our servers.

  Let me know if anything is unclear.
