blog guidelines?

  I have been resently tasked with posting items to our company blog. I am being sent a variety of items, including press releases and articles from industry journals, and I don’t know what “the rules” are. Can I cut and paste or do I have to re-write everything? Do I need to site sources?

  Yes you can cut and paste, but if you do so you should certainly cite your sources. It’s polite to leave an html link back to the original post as well. If they’re press releases, obviously they want you to use their material!
