Blog Header Help – Making an Adjustment
-
Hello WordPress users:
Thank you for taking the time to help me! I wish to resolve an issue with my blog’s header.
Here’s what my current header looks like:

I have a a custom image that I am using as the header image, but I would like to improve the visual appearance of the header by doing this:

How could I go about making the adjustment that I illustrated with the above picture? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I think this will make the header take up less vertical room, therefore making more of my content visible as the reader opens the page.
Hope you have a great day.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You could just put that info in the image of the header itself, but to render the text above invisible would require the paid CSS upgrade and a firm working knowledge of CSS. You might be better off just finding a theme that does that already.

Thanks for the help. How could I make the image sit behind the text, while still keeping the text “clickable” as the navigation buttons on my blog?

I don’t know. I don’t know anything about CSS. Don’t buy the upgrade if you don’t know it well; you’re pretty much on your own with it.
