Blog Header image doesn’t show

I purchased a Blog header image online so my blog would be unique. But I am very disappointed because it doesn’t even show up. Apparently I am not the only person with this problem either. Nevertheless, I am glad this came up before I got too involved with WordPress. Now I guess I should go some place else to write my blog if this is any kind of indication of what to expect from WordPress.
Blogger seems to handle images just fine. And likewise, Godaddy works just fine with their blog platform too. You guys have much better templates. But this problem seems to dominate any advantage you might have. It should be a non-issue. Come to think of it, every blog I have ever had handled images just fine. I was excited about wordpress, but now I am somewhat disillusioned. Image support seems like a relatively simple expectation to have for a weblog. I just started using wordpress 24 hours ago, and already I’ve found an inherent problem. I don’t mean to be negative or defensive. I am mainly upset because I payed money for an image specifically to complement my blog that won’t even show up. I suppose I should have used more discernment and common sense.

We can’t begin to try to help you without a link to your wordpress.com blog, starting with http. Or was this just a little farewell speech?

Funny… I thought the engineers who designed this forum thought about that. What exactly is the purpose of having a drop box that says “Select Blog you Need Help With” if the link I select doesn’t actually show up anywhere?

I see the default header image for Misty. Go into appearance>themes>custom header and upload yours from there. It should be 760×190 to upload without problems. I used that theme for a long time and know it works.

No it doesn’t work… If following you instructions worked why would I be here? I’ll just go some place else. WordPress sucks

Why don’t you contact support directly and — word for nasty, insulting word — tell them exactly what you’ve told me? Same tone, same everything.
But as you say, there are other places and I hope you enjoy yourself more there than here.
