Blog Health Question

  I ran a check of my blog at ismyblogworking.com which revealed the following results:

  RSS ✓yes

  RDF✗no

  Atom✗no

  Page Gzip ✗no

  Feed Gzip ✗no

  Page 304 ✗no

  Feed 304 ✓yes

  robots.txt ✓yes

  As there are several (x), I take it all is not well with my blog. I would like to know if there are easy fixes to resolve these issues marked with (x).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I got the same errors. The RSS feed was no longer valid. I tested the feed and got this comment from feedvalidator.org:

  line 127, column 190: XML parsing error: <unknown>:127:190: not well-formed (invalid token)

  On closer inspection, I found a non-ASCII character had snuck in (it was text I’d copied from an email and the original was badly formatted). Removing the character cleared the problem up.

  Don’t worry about those X’s. They are things you COULD offer, but you don’t HAVE to.
