Okay I have a free site here and I want to upgrade to my own domain for my blog.
In the futuure I want to get a full website with squarespace. I want to sell my art, classes and who knows what else and want my blog there so it’s all together on my site.
Could I just link my blog to mu squarespace? Move it? Or what? Can I use the same domain name as my blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, WordPressdotcom and Squarespace are entirely separate platforms.
If you want to use a custom domain here on WordPressdotcom, you could buy a Personal upgrade plan which includes a custom domain, but you could also buy a custom domain name with any accredited domain registrar and use the domain credit (a part of your Personal plan) to map the domain while your site is still hosted on WordPressdotcom.
Once you move your site to Squarespace, you would need to log in to your domain registrar and point your domain to the new hosting and additionally would need to renew your domain registration (whether with WordPressdotcom or a 3rd party domain registrar) in order to keep it current and in addition to any other hosting costs incurred.
Let me know if you have any other question about that.

Yeah thanks so much for getting back to me. The problem is I am not good at any of this. Let me beak it down and you tell me what I can do
I have a free site mireyapizarro.wordpress.com
This is my blog but I want to have a custom domain as I am a serious blogger
to mydomain*.com
So for this I need a personal plan of 2.95 a month
I want to try this out for a year.
Then I want to have a full website were I can sell my books, teach online classes, paid subscription for my blog and sell products. I want to go with a company like squarespace.
My problem is how do I combine my full website with my blog.
Do map it as you say for somehow link it? I’m not sure.
I don’t want to lose my blog.
Do I choose a domain like mydomain*.blog and then for squarespace or what ever platform I choose I can have my full website mydomain*.com
Please explain simple and easy. Thanks.
(*Note from Mod: I removed the actual domain names from your post so domain squatters don’t grab them.)

Hi just to be clear, all WordPressdotcom upgrade plans are paid a year at a time at checkout and autorenewed about a month ahead of time to avoid any possible domain issues. Refunds are available for 30 days after purchase on everything but domains, which need to be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase.
There are several ways to combine 2 websites, but what you’ve mentioned above is the most straightforward. This would require you to purchase and maintain 2 separate domain registrations: mydomain.com and mydomain.blog (For the sake of completeness, it is also possible to set up a subdomain of mydomain.com like blog.mydomain.com but for all intents and purposes, it’s the same as setting up two separate websites.)
The disadvantage for you is that you will need to maintain and pay for 2 separate websites, you will have two sets of statistics, subscriber lists, and more importantly possibly be competing against yourself in search engine returns. So before anything else, my advice would be to consider which platform best suits your needs, set up a website with a blog and go with one domain right from the start.

As far as WordPressdotcom goes, you can rearrange your current site to include a full ecommerce website with the WordPressdotcom Business plan upgrade by activating additional plugins, which could be more than you need.
You can also use any WordPressdotcom plan, including free, to sell your services and products. See also these tutorials: https://en.support.wordpress.com/tutorials/
Let us know if you have any other question about that.
