  hi there, we had a link to our blog on wp via our website https://www.brightways.com/blog/, we finished our contract with the hosting company and uploaded our backed up site with another provider. so now the files have been uploaded but the data file seems to have vanised from wp . I am trying to create a new account so can use the blog on our site but do not know how to go about it.

  You said the blog was linked to https://www.brightways.com/blog/ but, what was the URL of the blog itself? Are you sure it was a WordPress.com site?
  If it was using WordPress software but hosted elsewhere, we won’t be able to help you with that.
