Blog home loading very slowly

    Hello,

    Big problem with my (photo) blog : The home loads very slowly.

    My PC and internet connection are ok (and fast enough).

    Should I reduce the weight of :

    Featured images ?
    Header ?
    Images in post galleries ?
    Images in pages galleries ?
    or The total number of images in the MEDIA folder (even not published) ?

    Would it change something if I put the galleries on pages and make a link from the post ??

    Hello!

    There is a tool you can use that can give you a speed test.
    http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
    From what I gather the test seems to indicate your site loads in a standard 2-3 seconds.
    However, when I visited your site it did not load in that amount of time. It took about 8-10 seconds.

    Some suggestions to improve load time for your specific site would be to optimize images, especially the featured images.

    You could also try to reduce the amount of images on the front page.

    Also, make sure your images fit the requirements of the theme:
