Blog Home Page

When i set up my blog the theme came with a single default page entitled ‘Blog’ which linked back to the blog like a homepage so i re-named this ‘Home’.

This seems to have cause a problem. On entering My Mental Adventure the first thing you see is the blog which is what i wanted. However, when you navigate away to any other page i’ve created (‘about me’ for example) and then go back by clicking the re-named ‘home’ page all you see now is a blank screen!

You can resolve this by clicking the My Mental Adventure banner, but i’d like the home button to link back to the blog which is what it did when it was originally named ‘blog’

Advice would be appreciated on how to fix this. Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry you’re encountering that problem. Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

    Solve Common Browser Issues

Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?

I’ve tried clearing my cache & cookies but it hasn’t worked. I don’t think it’s a browser issue either. I tried another as suggested but it didn’t make any difference, I also know other people have been trying to visit the blog and are experiencing the same problem when hitting the home link

I’ve tried changing themes as well which seems to fix the issue temporarily albeit with one interesting result, 2 home page links appear instead of one and while one works the other doesn’t!

When I switch back to the Oxygen theme though (my theme of choice) only a single home link remains but it’s the one that does nothing. Is it an issue with the theme? I’d like to get this fixed asap please as it’s confusing some people.

  • Take a look now and let me know if it looks correct. I think I have it fixed.
