  I am building my website and I wish it to have only two columns as in one sidebar and one main area. How do I get rid of the second sidebar, the third column, which displays meta, blogroll and search. Thank you for your assistance on this.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That third column (second sidebar) is a widget area in the theme. Since you have no widgets there, it displays a set of standard widgets to fill the area.

  To have nothing there, open up your blog’s Customizer. Then add a Text Widget to the “Secondary Sidebar” area.

  In the body of the text widget, add a space. Then click “Save and Publish” at the top of the Customizer.
