Blog host Plagiarizing user comments

    This user is plagiarizing comments made on his blog. He’s taking user comments, copying, re-editing and re-posting to look like they’re our comments. He changed mine to say “I Eat Shoes.” http://mattyflexknows.wordpress.com/2014/10/18/theres-no-room-on-the-kansas-city-royals-bandwagon-for-st-louis-cardinals-fans/

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Believe it or not I have experienced an idiotic blogger who did the same thing and called himself a “comedy blogger”. I’d report that blog to Terms of Service Staff for abuse. Defamation, abuse, threats: We suspend content for impersonating a private person. Please see our abuse process for more information.

    Note: These matters are not discussed on these public support forums that are available to all with internet access. You need to file a complaint and submit it to WordPress.COM terms of Service Staff Please read http://en.wordpress.com/complaints/ and know this thread will be closed as you will deal with Staff directly by report.

    Hi! I am the author of the blog piece in question.

    I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to read my piece. The strong language you used in my comment section has been removed; I am genuinely sorry that my piece caused such a strong reaction from you, and do apologize if it offended you. Please feel free to illustrate the occurrences in question, as I do not see those on my comment wall.

    Regardless of dissenting opinion, I will not tolerate the name calling, condescension, and violent outbursts that you have previously displayed in my comment section. I do have copies of the comments, if you or anyone should need them.

    Remember — keep it clean, and GO ROYALS!

    Matthew

    Stealing my user name and picture to alter my comments is fraudulent, reprehensible and should not be tolerated. This is offensive and illegal. It was reported to the Word Press team with a “Screen Print” of the comments both original and altered. I also have my original comments, because I checked the box to see via email any posts responding to mine.

    @stbosch
    This is not the place to start that communication with regard to impersonation. Terms of Service Staff will deal with your complaint off these support forums. This thread is tagged for closure.
