  Hello WordPress Team, I have a Bolg under http://www.anitagryz.wordpress.com. Now I want to create a new Blog with HostPapa: http://www.anitagryz.com. Will they twice now, or they will be overwritten? I just want to use: http://www.anitagryz.com now. What should I do? Thanks und best Regards, Anita

  Hi Anita,

  There’s a super simple way to go about getting your blog to link to your custom address. First, take a look at this post: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Reading through this support document is really helpful. You can find the ‘Domains’ page through My Sites > Upgrades > My Domains > Domains on the left hand side. From there, click on ‘Map an Existing Domain’ under ‘Use a domain you already own’, and work through the instructions in the link above. This way, you can keep your blog and all its existing content, but it will redirect to http://www.anitagryz.com.

  Also, just be aware that domain mapping is a paid upgrade, and will cost you $13.00 per year.
