Hi there,
I had trouble finding that too!
Click on “My Sites”. Then, in the upper left-hand corner, your site title will be in the menu, followed by three dots to the right of it. So for example, mine looks like “The Pampered Flock …”
Click those three dots. The three dots will go from horizontal to vertical and the link to “Edit Icon” will appear, replacing your blog name. =) It’ll bring you to a new dashboard–on the right, you can now upload a blog picture/icon.
Here’s a link to more information about Blavatars (aka blog icons) if you need it.
I hope that helps!

Thank you :-)
Found it with Chrome (not with Explorer…).
The thing is, I don’t see a thumbnail pic when I share the homepage on Facebook. There is a thumbnail when I share an article.
Must look into this more, I guess. -
Hi again,
Per this help document, unless you’re using Internet Explorer 11 (or any newer version that might be developed), your WordPress experience might be lacking due to some reduced functionality. Just in case someone else stumbles upon this thread with a similar issue, here’s a list of all the most current and up-to-date browsers.
Facebook can be such a pain! Unfortunately, WordPress.com does not have any control over which pictures some social media websites choose to use. It sounds like they haven’t flushed their image caches recently, so if you tried to post your blog to Facebook before, it might still show no image because they need to essentially ‘refresh’ their pages and delete their old, stored information.
Here are some tools that might help you:
This Facebook Debugger can help you determine which data is shared when you post.
And finally, here’s a link about the Facebook image thumbnail.
I hope that answers any remaining questions! Happy blogging.
