Blog image not showing on Facebook

    Hello. When I share my most recent blog at peterfritze.com entitled “Is a Kirkus Review Worth It?” on Facebook, the JPEG image at the beginning of the blog doesn’t show as a thumbnail. I’ve reviewed the support page “Facebook Image Thumbnail”, which says the image must be more than 200 x 200 pixels and have an height/width aspect ratio (either way) of less than 3. The JPEG I used satisfies these criteria. Any other reason why the image might not show as a thumbnail? The original image is from Adobe Photoshop and was saved as a JPEG. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    We’re sending Facebook that JPEG image from your post, but for some reason Facebook still thinks that image is too small. You can see exactly what Facebook is grabbing from your post by putting the link to the post in their debugger here:

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

    The problem may be that the image is embedded in your post with a width and height of 300 x 174 pixels, instead of at a larger size. You might want to try resizing the image so it’s larger in the post itself, and see if that makes a difference for Facebook.
