Blog import failed from alFemminile.com

    I imported from a blog alFemminile.com my blog following their instructions but unfortunately even after more than 24 h the importation process (wordpress.com) is not yet finished and I do not know which is the status of the importation….

    When I go to the importation tools for word press I get
    “Importa WordPress
    Elaborazione in corso …

    Stiamo elaborando la tua importazione e ti invieremo un’email non appena sarà completata. Se non ricevi la conferma entro 24 ore, contatta il supporto e risolveremo il problema.”

    which means in italian
    “Import WordPress
    elaboration ongoing….

    We are elaborating your import and we will send you an email when finished. If you not receive any confirmation in 24h contact the support and we will solve your problem”

    So my import is broken or simply not yet finished? Oddly one time I have openend my blog I have see some of my previous blog posts but after reopening the site it disappeared…..Could you explain me what happened?

    It may be timing out, actually. I’ll go ahead and stop this first import.

    Then let’s have you try creating a clean export file:

    – Trash/delete any spam comments from your old site
    – If you have pending comments that are spam, trash/delete those as well.
    – Then export, and try importing here again

    If that still does not import, let us know and we’ll try importing for you from our end.
