blog in my account is NOT mine

there is blog in my account that is not mine. I stopped using wordpress 2 years ago…my old blog deleted. Now when I log in there is a new blog in there with a similar name as my old one…but it’s not mine. I’m not writing it. It’s sending out posts to my old blog subscribers that are spam. I can’t figure out how to delete it. when I click on it a new log in screen pops up (even though I already logged in to wordpress to begin with) and it doesn’t even acknowledge my username. I cannot log in to get rid of this spam blog. Blog is listed below, it isn’t mine and I need it to stop sending blog entries to my old subscribers.

The site below may be hacked but we don’t provide support for it here at WordPress.COM because it is not hosted here at WordPress.COM. Contact the web host NameCheap
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Sorry, I’ve been working on this for 2 days and keep getting sent in circles. Name Cheap says it isn’t their site that it’s wordpress. They told me they couldn’t help me.
I did take your advice and register in wordpress org. and asked my question there and they answered me and told me I was in the wrong spot and needed to post here to wordpress.com.
so I’m just trying to follow each instruction I’m given…both name cheap and wordpress.org told me to come here.
I didn’t know what else to do other than try again. -
Oh no! That’s crazy. I’m so sorry this is happening. What we do know is that the site is being hosted by NameCheap.

Correct – that is not my blog. Their posts are going out to my blog subscribers too. So, I did change my wordpress password, I also changed my feedburner password so now automatic blog emails could deploy. If you could please remove that blog — anything that will help me stop the blog emails from going out to my subscribers. I appreciate your help very much!

Okay, I’ve removed it. I don’t see anything that would connect it to your blog subscribers. If you see that persist now that I’ve removed the site please do let me know.

very good — and thank you. I changed the password on my feedburner account as well, I’m hoping that now that the blog is gone and I’ve changed passwords…no more blogs going out.
