Blog is full,can I continue to blog with my same address

My blog will no longer let me publish, apparently my space is “full.” I want to continue to publish with the same address, I am willing to upgrade and pay a fee but will my blog address have to change from
wordpress.com to something else?If I “upgrade” I believe the wordpress.com will have to change….any other options? How will me 308 readers find me?

do you mean “full” as in the media library is full?
If so you can buy a space upgrade – since your account is two years old, you can still purchase a space upgrade for I think $20.-/yr and not need to get the special Cable TV bundle pricing plan for $99.-/yr – just go to your
Dashboard >> Store
you can keep the old name / URL – not an issue
Are you optimizing your pictures for the web or are you uploading raw 3mb and up images? Large images make sites slow to load, get downgraded by search engines and irritate visitors

I **think** yes. I am a 64 year old non-technical person teaching myself WordPress as I go.
I get an error box that says “Error: Not enough space to upload.”
No I am not optimizing my photographs. I did not/do not know about this. HOW do I do this? Can you assist me here?
I’ll go and checkout the dashboard/store and see about that. That may just be what I need.

Yes your images are probably too large and you filled up your Media Library – see below for some help on what to do with images – hope that helps

You can continue to make text posts. You can upload your images somewhere else, like Flickr.com, and then use the “upload via URL” function, which doesn’t take up any space in your blog.
There are conflicting reports, but I do not believe shrinking your images after uploading them helps free up more space. And if you delete the images from your library, it doesn’t free up space either.
