Blog is missing

I logged wordpress.com to update my blog, storeytimes.com (hosted by fatcow), and the blog seems to have disappeared.
On the opening wordpress.com page, (before I log into the dashboard to update storeytimes), there’s a blue box to the left side. It says, welcome back stephstor. And under “your blogs” only storeytimeentertainment.com is listed (that’s a URL that I have forwarded to storeytimes.com). storeytimes.com is no longer listed under “your blogs” (it was always there before). So, the link that I used to use to get to the log-in page for storeytimes (where I have to put in admin and password) is GONE.
When I go to storeytimes.com, the site is still there and works/looks fine.
I’ve been using wordpress for this blog for a couple of months, and it’s always worked fine.
The last time I logged in, I didn’t change anything. I did update a plugin a few days ago… Did that have anything to do with it? The blog just seems to have been erased. What do I do???
I did not build the site myself – I hired someone to put it together initially – so I’m really new to all of this, so if you have any advice on what I do to fix it, please give me lots of specifics on what I need to do!

The blog you specified at storeytimes.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.
This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.
If you don’t understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

There is no real connection between wordpress.COM and self-hosted blogs. The only “apparent” connection is that your self-hosted blog will be listed in your account here if you have the wordpress.com blog stats plugin installed on your blog.
You need to login over at http://storeytimes.com to work on that blog.

WordPress.org is sending me to YOU because it’s a problem with the OPENING wordpress.com page – not the blog itself

Right – I know. But the problem is with the opening page – that first page I log onto no longer has a link for storeytimes.com…
does this make any sense?

WordPress is a free hosting service. Your blog is not hosted here, it is hosted at fatcow. The login for your self-hosted blog is NOT tied to wordpress.COM.
If you were/are using the blog stats plugin, then your self-hosted blog would be listed on your account here because to use it you have to use the API key that is only available here.

AH! I CAN log in through that link that you sent me. THANK YOU – but it’s still not listed on my “home page” at wordpress.com – and I DID have that plugin that made it show up on the opening page – because it used to show up there, but now it doesn’t… maybe that’s the plugin I updated?

DO NOT log onto wordpress.com to work on your self-hosted blog. You log into your self-hosted blog by going to http://storeytimes.com/wp-login.php .
