I mapped my domain name with wordpress and my blog isn’t loading when I put in my URL. I have been able to load posts and everything looks in order. I know it takes a couple of days, but I am not sure I have done everything correctly.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It looks like we’re almost there! The name servers on krankykitty.biz aren’t pointed to WordPress.com yet.
Could you follow the instructions listed here to change the name servers to point to WordPress.com?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

NS53.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
NS54.DOMAINCONTROL.COMNo Jeremy, I have not been able to follow those instructions. That is where I get stuck. The above are nameservers from GoDaddy. Are they needed?
PLEASE help me get this connected. I am going insane. I want my URL to be simply krankykitty.biz
I have to head out for a while. I will be back.

Do I need to go through GoDaddy? I called there the other day and someone told me they could redirect it, but if I did it through WP, it would be better for SEO.

Hi Amy!
The nameservers you mentioned (DomainControl.com) aren’t for WordPress.com. They’re for GoDaddy. Think of nameservers as directions of sorts. They tell your domain where to look for information. We want your name servers to look like this:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM NS2.WORDPRESS.COM NS3.WORDPRESS.COMYou should be able to switch these using the instructions found here:
http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/664/setting-nameservers-for-your-domain-names
Specifically, I’m referring to those under “Setting Nameservers for a Domain Name Registered with Us”. Can you give that a try?

Jeremy,
I went to the link you sent me. I couldn’t change the nameservers in the standard mode. I went to custom and added the three wordpress NS .coms you listed above.
Still not working. Here is the message I get when trying to go to krankykitty.biz:
“The webpage at http://krankykittydotbiz.wordpress.com/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.”

Great! That’s actually good news. It’s working correctly for me. Just clear your cache as described here:
That should do the trick!

Awesome-O-2000! Finally up and running. Thank you for all your help. I’m so proud of myself. (I’m too old to be figuring this shit out.) Thanks again!
