Blog is not updating.

I posted this last night with the same issue and thought I had resolved it but it is clear it is not now since it has occurred once again with a new post. My blog is not updating on the front page when I post something new. I posted again this morning and that one did not make it to the front page either. Last night’s post in question had an image that was being featured in the slider and we thought that was the problem so I removed the image from the slider however the post never showed. I deleted the post and reposted and it showed. This morning’s post never had an image in the slider. I did not add it as a featured image for that very reason as I was told you couldn’t have a featured image in the slider and on the front page as well.
