Blog Layout
-
I’m fairly a novice and trying to adjust the apperance of my Blog so that just the most recent post shows instead of a continous feed of all of my postings. Any assistance is appreciated. Also, not sure if this requires a premium package. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi April,
You can control the number of posts shown on your homepage from your Reading Settings page. To find this page, navigate to your blog’s dashboard, then select Settings -> Reading.
Where it says “Blog Pages Show at Most”, change that number to 1:

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the feedback. I realize I actually added my blogs as posts rather than pages. Do I need to re-post as pages in order to have only the most recent blog show on the screen with the ability to click on other blogs in the side navigation?

Hi April,
Looks like you’re doing everything right! I just didn’t know about some other settings that are effecting the number of posts you’re seeing on your homepage.
On your Settings –> Reading page, there are two more settings you need to adjust. The first one is “Syndication feeds show the most recent”, which you should also set to 1.
https://cloudup.com/cFHR6nDOxPLThe next setting is “To infinity and beyond”, which you should uncheck:

Here’s some information on what a post is vs. what a page is, if you’re interested:
