blog layout

    Hi,

my blog at notwavingordrowning.co.uk is displaying only summaries. I want the full posts to be visible in the category pages “news” and “shows” complete with images, and I want the archive/ meta widgets to be disabled so I can have a full width page…can you tell me if this is possible?

I have just upgraded to vidahost and I’m about to transfer my site over. Is it best to wait and do it there? or do it here first and then transfer?

    Many thanks for reading.

    hope you can help,

    B

    Hi there,

If you’re moving your site from WordPress.com to a self-hosted WordPress site with another host, you may want to wait until you’ve moved and make the change there. Self-hosted hosted sites using the software from WordPress.org allow you to make more changes to your theme’s files to get it to do exactly what you want.

For example, on WordPress.com it isn’t possible to change how your theme displays posts on category pages. However, you can edit the theme on a self-hosted site to change that behavior.

If you have questions about how to do that on your self-hosted site, you can get more help from the WordPress.org forums here:

    http://wordpress.org/support/

Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
