Blog Layout Messed Up….
-
I need to contact a person…I have gone through all of the forums and done what is listed…and my sidebar is still down at the bottom of my blog. I’ve searched posts for the html, cleared cache, etc. If someone could please let me know what happened and how to fix it.
Thanks!

As I stated in the first explanation…I’ve already been there and done all of that. It says if after doing all of those things…if it still doesn’t work that wordpress would fix it for you.
-
Well you haven’t done all of that: you have a stray closing div tag in the post “Our Favorite Week of the Summer” (above the phrase “Teaching the annual Family Dance Night last year”).
-
(Obviously you didn’t bother reading the post I linked to, although it’s more thorough than the relevant Support doc.)
-
I did…and I have combed through that piece several times, and had someone else go behind me. I cannot find any div anywhere. ?????
-
Found it….I had to go in another way. Very strange. Is there any way to keep that from happening again? Thanks!
-
Yes. Like it says in that post:
1) go to Settings > Writing: tick the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”, click Save Changes;
-
Yes…I’ve already done that…just wanted to make sure that is all that I need to do. Thanks!

You’re welcome.
My post also includes a method that would have worked without any “combing” (the bulk turn to draft then back to published trick).
