Hi! I consider this as some sort of support issue, maybe for us bloggers not excluding any.
Alright, ever since my blog at wordpress is threatened legal action by some Singapore big shot, I decided might as well do something on it. It may not be that ‘technical’ but it is necessary for us bloggers to come together and engage in the understanding of our rights and protection from scheming people out to there to threaten us.
I suggest WordPress start a forum for that purpose. Because IT issues will hit blogs and bloggers, but so are legal pressures, especially for those who have little social or legal awareness.
I will currently write some articles on such blog issues in my blog, and I hope people can come together taking this chance to understand our defence against lurking threats. I understand that several bloggers around the world have been sued, and they don’t know how to fend for themselves. Any lawyers or magistrates who blog should also push for such a move.
Remember, IT faults can kill your blogging, so can other social threats. If more bloggers got sued in the world, a precedent will be a problem.
Kindly support by be interested. Because it’d affect anyone of us.

I have visited that site you recommended. But it seems that it is only USA people EFF can reach. If I were to fight against Singapore ERC as a blogger, we will have a little problem. Singapore’s still kind of not ‘mature’ in this area of blogging.
Which is why I suppose WordPress should have a forum for this and encourage WordPress Asian (especially) bloggers to come together to discuss their views and issues with blogging outside IT concerns. Recently, Malaysia has one such blogging case as well. And EFF can’t intercept from USA, so those Malaysians have to fight on their own.
This is the minimum effort we have to look into. Because when such an Asian government or powerful entity tried to mingle blogs with traditional media, many of the Asian bloggers are exposed in confusion. WordPress should have a community forum for such critical common issues. Maybe EFF should start an Asian branch, and I’d volunteer to assist. :)
I sure am earning my rights on blogging.

I have just confirmed, that EFF.org is being rendered inaccessible from my terminal. I guess WordPress should understand what Asian Bloggers are facing.
While EFF is fighting for us bloggers, someone should write to EFF to start a blog in WordPress. And WordPress must be ready to understand its rights as blog host. Which is why all the more the entire world should come together. IT faults are dead, but human aggression is not. And we can only confront them by coming together.
Your blog, and anyone’s blogs and the hosts are all at risk. Do not assume that you are lucky. IT blogs have been filed against by BIG corporates. In Singapore, I’d try to fight a lone battle for the bloggers in Court. Meanwhile, WordPress can be the leading host to do something about such threats. We can start a forum, informing all nations of blogging and keep ourselves updated on possible threats and means of getting around them.
Don’t be a sitting sheep.
Mark, I am not promoting my site, but I think people should come and read what’s going on, and understand it’s a real threat to the blogging community in Asian, if not worldwide.
Pay close attention to the coming court battle in Singapore then. ;)
