Blog loading blank
-
I just launched my blog last week and today I had a post that got a lot of views, reached 31,000 on Facebook and had over 3,000 clicks, and then all of a sudden my blog stopped loading.
Did it crash from too much traffic? Surely a few thousand wouldn’t crash a blog, would it?
Would appreciate any assistance as people are trying to view the post and cannot.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello.
This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. Questions about http://shittyactivist.com/ should asked on the appropriate WordPress.org support forums.
Good luck!

What does the Domain Helper tell you about http://theshittyactivist.wordpress.com/ and http://shittyactivist.com/?
-
Says this:
“Although shittyactivist.com has been registered, it is not using WordPress.com nameservers. If your domain is mapped to a self-hosted site, then your configuration may be fine as currently set up. If you wish to host your site at WordPress.com, you will need to update your nameservers as outlined below”
-
-
Then follow the instructions and change the name servers to WordPress.COM if you want the domain mapping to work for /theshittyactivist.wordpress.com/
-
Even though it’s been working fine the way it was? I want it to display shittyactivist.com instead of the wordpress url, which it was doing ok before

OK, thanks, though I’m not sure why it would stop working all of a sudden when the other configuration has worked fine for some time now
-
It can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet – access to your site will probably be erratic during that time – also you will be the last one to see the changes due to caching

working now, I guess that was the issue, the server stuff, though all of a sudden? thanks everyone

haha, now not working again : I’ll just let it sit and see how it works tomorrow. Seemed like a shitty time for it to start bugging out, exactly as I get my first post that people interact with
