Blog loading slowly

  Hi,

  It seems that my blog ( http://artsmania.wordpress.com/) has recently started to load quite slowly, at least from my computer. In the past it loaded almost instantly but for the last 2 weeks it seems to take about 15 seconds to load. The only changes I have made in the past 2 weeks is to add the most recent posting (which contains the normal amount of photos) and also to add a subscription widget.

  I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how to make it load quicker. I am worried that this will hurt my traffic.

  Your site loads like a medium pig and yes it will put off visitors. Two basic ways to fix, put fewer Posts on the front page and / or use the More Tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  Dashboard >> Settings >> Read >> Blog pages show at most >> put smaller number

  Your regular visitors probably don’t need to see the whole Posts that they have already seen.
