  I set my site to private and then logged off how can I get back on

  Hi rvnels,

  furbirdsqueerly.wordpress.com is owned by furbirdsqueerly so you will need to login to that account in order to edit it. Please log out of WordPress.com, then log back in with the username furbirdsqueerly.

  Thanks but I can’t even get into the account to do anything. It is treating me as a visitor to the blog. Gemmacevans, I am old and just don’t get a lot of this stuff. It is set to privacy and I can’t even get past that message to do any work. Thank you for your help.

  You are logged into a different account than the one you used to create that site. You will first need to log out of the rvnels account you’re currently logged in as, and then log back in as the correct account.

  Go to https://wordpress.com/me/ and click the Sign Out button.

  Then go to https://wordpress.com/log-in, and type the username furbirdsqueerly, along with the password you used for that account.
